Soft, leesy, mushroom, pine needles, salty, watermelon rind, and citrus in the key of lemon. 70% Friuliano (fka, Tocai Friuliano) and 30% Malvasia Istriana. The winery's eight hectares straddle the Collio and Isonzo valley along the border of Slovenia in northeastern Italy. There's mostly limestone in them hills with some iron rock and red gravel. Great wine terroir, period. Everything is estate grown, harvested by hand, and sorted at the winery. Pretty compelling mineral white wine for all you rock heads out there.
